Hi friends!
I'm Graeme and on the left is my childhood rescue cat Calico, who started my passion for animals and is the inspiration for this site.
We have four of our own resident cats, we foster cats and I'm also an RSPCA Queensland volunteer, which is where I get to spend some time with some wonderful dogs.
This is my personal blog to:
Celebrate the furry friends and the great experiences that they have brought into my life;
Record the progress of our fosters through a diary, photos and videos; and
Share my journey of trying to become a better animal carer and learning as a pet owner, foster carer and RSPCA Queensland volunteer.
I also hope that by sharing some of my experiences, it will inspire you to get involved or to contribute to the amazing work of RSPCA Queensland. My goal for 2020 is to raise over $1,058. (Stay tuned for the blog post explaining why this is my target.) Please consider donating if you can (100% of donations go direct to RSPCA Queensland).
