Ho ho ho!

I’ve been a little slack at keeping up to date with posts here for my three loyal readers. Forgive me - it isn’t easy staying on top of this with family commitments and while managing full-time career, volunteering about eight hours per week, three hour off-site dog walks every Saturday, and looking after five cats! Just writing that sentence makes me tired.

On top of that, in the last few weeks I’ve been trying to fit a bit extra in - I’ve been trying to learn more about dog behaviour through reading and YouTube, and had an extra volunteer gig as Santa Claus at the RSPCA Queensland’s Santa Paws event.

Santa Paws was loads of fun - I got to have my photo taken with so many dogs, some of whom were excited to meet Santa while others weren’t so keen on the strange big guy in the red suit. It was a great fun morning - a little warm with air con troubles and mentally exhausting keeping up the character and constantly smiling at the camera (always had to be ready so the photographer could get the shot as soon as the dogs look) but loads of fun and a great way to get into the festive spirit.
