I’m back!
Wow, it’s been six months since I last posted! But I’m back now! I noticed a bit of traffic to the site in the last few weeks and it’s coming around on the one year anniversary, which means it’s also coming around on the need to re-up for the hosting fees etc. (so I figure I better start posting again to justify the cost).
Quick update on what’s happened since the last post:
Four of our foster cats have been adopted to the most amazing homes! I will post more on these stories with some photos and videos in the coming days & weeks.
I’ve joined the RSPCA Queensland Behaviour & Enrichment Support team helping out the doggos who need a little extra care and attention. Many of these doggos are ones that I can’t post about here unfortunately. But it is some of the most rewarding, yet sometimes very challenging, volunteering work that I’ve done with RSPCA Queensland. It’s been a really great way of applying some of the knowledge and skills that I’ve learnt through volunteering at School for Dogs.
I am still volunteering at School for Dogs (Thursday night classes) and the Vollie Desk (Saturday mornings).
Unfortunately I’m not able to get dogs out off-site on Saturday mornings because that’s when I’m doing my Behaviour & Enrichment Support shifts.
That’s about all for today. I will post about our most recent foster, Annabelle, very soon. She is a beautiful little lady and has gone to the perfect furerver home so please look forward to that story.
In the meantime, to help make this post a little more interesting and to have some content to post on Instagram, please enjoy some photos of some of the graduates from our School for Dogs Thursday classes in the last few months.
