Two very special things
A brief post today about two things that are very special to me.
Firstly (and hoping the person doesn’t take offence as already being referred to as a “thing”), I really want to make special mention of my wife. Having this blog is a little daunting and can feel quite exposed, and starting it was my choice and I want to respect her privacy. That being said, without my wife I wouldn’t be able to do any of this. She is such a loving, caring person who not only tolerates and supports my passion for animal well-being, quite frankly she is better with all our cats (residents and foster) and is clearly more popular with them than I am. She is the most wonderful person in the world. I also love that I can get away with buying a Cat Hoodie as a gift for her, which she adores, but she doesn’t even question why I bought it in such a large size. Hee hee - she’ll discover this secret soon.
Secondly, today only (1st October) is the RSPCA Give to Get Them Home campaign. All donations to RSPCA Qld today will be quadrupled - https://www.charidy.com/rspcaqld. While I would love to encourage you all to donate through my ongoing donations page, this is a special, one-day only campaign and I can’t compete with quadrupling donations so if you can I encourage you to donate to this campaign please.
