Oh Squish
It’s taken a few days to get this up. Squish came with me to the shelter on Saturday morning as she was being picked up by her adopters that morning. She only ended up staying with us for five nights! It’s incredible how much you can miss something after such a short period of time. Squish was a little sweetheart. It’s almost like she knew that it was her last night with us on Friday as it was that night that she became brave enough to become a lap cat.
Unfortunately I didn’t get to meet her adopters but from all accounts that are lovely people and I’m sure they must be super pleased with Squish joining their family. She’s a special little girl.
Also stay tuned - I will soon have more photos and videos to post of little Emmy. It turns out my theory that she was mostly just a little bit scared by Squish was a bit off the mark - she is definitely still a timid little girl but she has also made great strides this week and is now starting to cooperate for the camera and is a beautiful little creature too. Please be excited for more Emmy content to come soon!
Anyway, this post is just to say farewell and best wishes to Squish and share these final two images of her as a lap cat. What a funny little girl with a pretty intense little stare.
